Vozes em oposição: um estudo das narrativas memoriais de integrantes do setor jovem do MDB de Canoas (1972-1979)

Abstract

O presente trabalho investiga as narrativas memoriais de integrantes do Setor Jovem do Movimento Democrático Brasileiro (MDB) de Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, o qual existiu de 1972 a 1979. O objetivo principal deste trabalho foi o de reconstruir as trajetórias desses integrantes, dentro do período analisado, a partir de suas narrativas - as “vozes em oposição” ao regime civil-militar instalado no Brasil a partir de 1964. Busquei, assim, compreender a constituição dos entrevistados como atores políticos, assim como suas percepções sobre os outros atores, a época e o espaço onde atuavam. As narrativas obtidas foram alvo de interpretação e confronto pontual com outras fontes, incluindo depoimentos de integrantes de outros Setores Jovens. A fim de alcançar esses objetivos, fiz uso da metodologia da História Oral e dos estudos de Paul Ricoeur nas áreas de memória, narrativa e hermenêutica. Também conduziram a investigação os trabalhos de René Rémond sobre o papel do político na História. Os resultados denotaram a presença de releituras daquele período e uma ideia comum de geração. O produto final escolhido foi um documentário.

The present study investigates the memorial narratives produced by the members of the Youth Group of the Brazilian Democratic Movement (MDB) from Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, that existed between 1972 and 1979. The main goal of this work is a reconstruction of the trajectories of these members based on their narratives – the “voices of opposition” to the civil-military regime installed in Brasil in 1964. This research aimed to understand the constitution of the interviewees as political actors and their perceptions of the other actors, when and where acted. The narratives were object of interpretation and confrontation with other sources. For the completion of this study I used the methodology of the Oral History and the studies of Paul Ricoeur on memory, narrative and hermeneutics. The investigation was also conducted by the studies of René Rémond about the role of politics in History. The results revealed the presence of reevaluations of this period and a common notion of generation. The final product is a documentary.
